The Snow Show is unique exhibition and process that explores the dynamics of visual artistist and architects working together on structures made primarily of snow and ice. The intriguing snow and video piece designed by Asymptote together with Osmo Rauhala challenged the builders in Finland’s snow building capital, Kemi. Jene Highstein’s and Steven Holl’s massive ice piece rose in the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi, to the awe and inspiration of local inhabitants and the numerous winter tourists from around the world.
